It’s been a slow week for mortgage
news. The financial markets continue
to monitor and react to news coming
out of the Middle East.

There are a lot of characteristics
that go into a mortgage rate –
credit score, investor, loan to
value, loan amount, costs, etc.
Please call me to go over your specific
scenario so we can price your loan
out accurately.

5-YEAR AND 7-YEAR
FIXED MORTGAGES

A 5-Year and 7-Year Fixed Mortgage
is becoming more popular for clients
that want the lowest payment today,
and believe that interest rates will
likely fall in the future.

A 5-year fixed loan can carry a rate
of .625% better than a 30-year fixed
rate conventional loan. This would
equate to a $158 lower payment
on a $400,000 loan.

A 7-year fixed loan can carry a rate
of .5% better than a 30-year fixed
rate conventional loan. This would
equate to a $126 lower payment
on a $400,000 loan.

While a Temporary Fixed Mortgage
is not right for every client, it can be
a great option for clients that don’t
plan on being in the loan long term,
or clients that believe interest rates will
drop and they will eventually refinance
their loan in the coming years.

Please contact me if you would like to
look at 5- and 7-year fixed mortgages for
your purchase or refinance scenario.

I hope you have a fantastic week!!
